Kwik Cricket Festival

Kwik Cricket Festival 2018.

On Wednesday the 11th of July, 21 year 6 pupils walked to Wellington College to participate in the Kwik Cricket Festival.

The boys’ first match was a close game against Crowthorne C of E school. The team unfortunately lost but only by 48 runs.

The girls’ match was against St Michael’s school. The game was also lost but this time by 9 points.

The next match, the boys faced Whitegrove and lost 65 runs behind.

The girls’ next match was another loss, but we played on.

The boys’ next match was against Fox Hill; they won with 7 more runs than the other team.

Next the girls played Cranbourne and we lost by a few points again.

In the last boys’ match, they lost again to St Margaret Clitherow.

The girls were on a losing streak until the last game when we won by 14 points.

Our captains Ella and Finlay k were amazing. Sadly we didn’t get into the finals but we had an amazing time.
