Have a go at the earthquake experiment.  Can you write an explanation about what happened?

 

Activity 3 

Using the internet to help you, complete the fact file on the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake that struck in Japan.

 

Art - Patterns 

 

Have a go at making and creating your own patterns. You can use a variety of marks to make a pattern such as  – lines, curves, dots, shapes etc. On the mark making worksheet or on plain paper, work in just black and white media  to produce a variety of marks that fit with the title of the box.  

Now  do the same on a second worksheet or plain piece of paper and introduce the use of coloured media. 

Do you prefer your patterns in black and white or colour? 

 

French - Sports

 

Work through Power Point and after listening to the words practice saying the french for different sports.  Once you have done that either make a poster about your favourite sport writing the name of the sport underneath or try the word search, looking for the french vocabulary for sports.

Once you have watched the video have a go at sorting the pictures in the document at the bottom of this page.  You need to put the correct pictures into the correct boxes.  What State is it? ( Solid, Liquid or Gas)  What is the arrangement of particles for this state and finally what material matches this state?  Try the first 2 pages to begin with.
