Welcome to week 5 of our Additional Home Learning!
It has been lovely catching up with families this week and I am so impressed to see how you are all managing the home learning, juggling everything you have to do to survive a tricky situation, especially when it rains!
I also loved seeing you on your amazing YouTube film. Wow! It brought tears to my eyes and a smile to my face and I know I will watch it again and again. Well done to everyone on making this happen!
Friday 8th May is a Bank Holiday so we will not be setting work that day but I will add a link in Other Subjects if you wish to do some of the activities available online.
In maths we will be carrying on with our work on multiplication and division with some practical activities and games to support this plus a MyMaths homework too.
In English we will carry on with our normal spelling, phonics and handwriting. In writing we will do a fun activity linked to the RNLI.
Hopefully you have all managed to swap your school reading books if you needed to. I have also included a link a website where you can access school reading books online and recorded some more Storytime stories for you to watch as these have proved popular(!)
In topic we will learn all about how to be safe on a beach and make our own miniature beach too (thank you Willow!)
Keep sending me photos and emails so I can hear how you are getting on. I think most of you are using the new email address for this now, thank you.
Have a good week and enjoy the VE day celebrations on Friday
Love Mrs H x
