Welcome back to the second half of the Autumn term. This half term we are looking forward to our trip to the River and Rowing Museum in Henley.
The Crowthorne Fire Brigade will be visiting us on the morning of Monday 17th November.
REMEMBER IT'S SPOTTY NON SCHOOL UNIFORM FOR CHILDREN IN NEED ON FRIDAY 15TH NOVEMBER
We will be completing some assessments in maths this week and also revising our knowledge of place value by multiplying whole numbers and decimals by 10, 100, 1000 and 10,000 as we didn't fit this in last week. Remember to continue practising your times tables at home.
Over the next few weeks, we are learning how to write effective mystery stories based on our book study 'Dead Man's Cove'. We wrote some great descriptions of our characters that showed rather than told the reader about them. This week will continue with describing the setting of our mystery story and will plan it by creating comic strips using Lego and the I pads. We will also the comic strips to help us learn about the conventions of using speech in our stories.
