We were very proud of Year 6 on our open morning- many visitors commented on the confidence of the tour guides and the quality of work in the classroom. Well done to everyone! We were also very proud of Alfred and Lucy, who laid the wreath at the Remembrance Day service in Sandhurst. This week, we are looking forward to sitting next to a chosen companion for a day (yes, your persuasive letters worked!) and Children in Need on Friday. Remember to wear spots in exchange for bringing in a donation for this worthy charity. Please also remember to bring in any useful boxes and cartons, ribbons and decorations for your sea creatures.
In maths our focus is still on fractions while in English we are thinking about describing heroes and villains. We are also finding out the food chains that link creatures that live near a river.
Ms Richardson is in class every day but is based in the office on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Mrs Hardy, Mrs Foster, Mr Boardman and Mrs Fenner will be teaching French, PE and computing during those times. Please make sure that your PE kit is always in school so we don't waste valuable time during PE lessons. Mrs Clark supports Year 6 throughout the week- feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
